Basic Dog Obedience course offered in Challis 12 Jul 25
We are offering a basic obedience course teaching you and your dog how to learn the sit/heel/come commands. This is not a training course that you will leave with a trained dog. This is designed to help you learn how to train your dog using these commands. We will also cover some basic retrieve and “hold” techniques and commands along with directional control commands for anyone interested. All dogs must remain on a leash and controlled as we want this to be a great experience for all. We reserve the right to have you leave or put your dog away in a secured area if you are not able to maintain control of your dog.
Who: 15 people wanting/needing this training.
When: Saturday 12 Jul 2025 from 08:00 – 12:00.
Where: Challis City Park at the baseball field. Parking is back by the field past the farmer’s market area please.
Cost: A financial donation in the amount you wish to give to the Challis Idaho Youth Bird Dog Association Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization
What to bring: Leash, water for you and your dog and what you need to clean up after your dog if needed.
